I've always thought this, the story is good, but... I've always hoped for some sort of plot twist or if the plot started slightly differently maybe... Like instead of killing the little brother, maybe just made him a comatose patient or a disabled person patient or something...just not dead. It's kinda typical plot I want for this story, cuz I'm not a fan of tragedies.
But I guess... If mc was forgiven, the story and ending would change and mc's character would feel different too. Because if the little brother or mother was alive there would be a chance for mc to be forgiven and that would make the outcome of everything deviate from the original. mc throughout the story has been the type to reflect on his actions of both past and present, only because of the lesson he learned in an irreversible and devastating way. So if what happened didn't happen, maybe mc would never change as much as he did...
