No you're actually right. At one point (most likely from what you said) I started only reading the chapters to reach a conclusion after years but I lost all the passion I initially had. I hope that the last chapter gives us a satisfying conclusion
I'm glad it finally ends but not satisfied with this ending. What the hell happened to our journey? Yona solved so many problems, helped so many people, had many ally on the way and where are they? I thought there will be an epic final arc that she'd need every ally she made but look at this. And also an epic use for the prophecy. But only things we got is a half-assed dragon god arc. Author just remembered the prophecy at last minute and used it in the worst way.
After Ke-shuk (or whatever is his name) dragged Yona and others to the Hiryuu Castle, storyline gotten worse and worse. For me ofc. I didn't like King Il and Suwoon's past, there was no enough explanation nor a powerful reveal. She just read some letters and nothing happened. There was the war with the other country too but that just felt lile an unnecessary filler nobody remembers.
I can say sooo many things about it. It is one my fav mangas. My childhood. My years. I love it with my heart. But this ending, this story choices, how author made Yona too weak like a will-les leaf blown by the wind in last two arc, sloppy way of the conclusion... Everything just dissapointed me. This could be legendary but it's just a normal shoujo now.
