Imo? It was halfway okay, I’d give this a decent rating but it feels like the emotional depth in the first half of the story dissolved into tropes. KLM having a flawed limerence towards HKY was interesting and had potential to be a story arc, but they took a sort of 360 and went down a fluff path. I suppose I thought there would be a psychological twist in the end but I guess not.
I can’t get over how HKY had such a nuanced narrative and his character seemed like a genuine conflict constantly teetering on love and resentment towards KRY, but now there are just suddenly zero issues about his psyche and the supposed “dark side” KLM is sporting around freely.
The timeline just cuts far too short for years of relationship building, I think the ending was just rushed, but there could be more coming, just a thought (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
