tae-eun first: communication skills were non-existent. i think he’s too much of a people pleaser and perhaps low self-esteem, which is why he never fought back with yi-hyun on his exhibitions or actually expressed himself. that was his only fault though, the EXTREMELY poor communication
yi-hyun though, EXCUSE ME???? what the fuck do you mean you’ve been with tae-eun for three YEARS, not days, not weeks, not months, BUT YEARS, THREE FRICKING YEARS AND HE DIDNT KNOW WHAT HIS BF DOES FOR A LIVING???? that is fucking insane. i know more about random people my friends are friends with (whom i’ve never even met before) than yi-hyun knows about tae-eun. i don’t really care about him keeping his shifter abilities as a secret, that’s whatever. it’s the fact that yi-hyun is a terrible, awful boyfriend. what do you mean in the three years you’ve been together with tae-eun you don’t know his passions, his place of work, his occupation etc. that’s so insane
and let me add, even in the last chapter after all their apologies and whatwhat, when they’re talking about yi-hyun’s words on the show and he gets all flustered and says to tae-eun “you already know how i feel about you” THATS THE PROBLEM URGH. EVEN IF YOU THINK HE KNOWS, YOU STILL NEED TO TELL HIM. and i think that’s yet another reason why tae-eun never pushed back and was just a yes man in their relationship.
mind you, i like yi-hyun. i think he’s a cutie, but this was terrible man, i wouldve left yi-hyun millions of years ago and never looked back
