Soooo I may have bought the first volume of this in Japanese for someone who told me they were a fan of bl, but when they saw the cover their reaction lead me to believe they meant shounen ai. They kept saying it was different from what they usually read and when she saw that the seme was licking the uke's neck on the cover she was like "Oh! Um! And they're doing that! Right on the cover!" And deliberately placed her thumb to cover the seme's mouth. I learned later pornography/things that "inspire lust" on paper were banned in her country, though the law is rarely enforced. It was meant to be a souvenir from Japan. My initial thought was she was a fellow degenerate so I picked out a yaoi manga with the spiciest cover while in a manga store in Japan. I didn't realize until we got back and I learned more about her that she was also pretty innocent, and seeing the sadism/masochism in this.... Rip me.
