I rewatched the anime Banana Fish and read the extra chapters. I didn't cry or rlly feel sad, but I think it's because I'm denying the canon ending so bad and making my own conclusions that Ash and Eiji both live and are happily living together. I know Ash is dead, but I rlly can't accept it. The only way I'm stopping myself from feeling sad is by deluding myself. Ash has suffered so much and in the end, he wanted to go to Japan with Eiji. His final thoughts were only about Eiji and now Eiji has to live on with the fact he will never see Ash again... Actor au TRUST! ASH IS ALIVE TRUSTT
