a lot of ppl call her dumb and annoying but to me, it comes off more comedic. idk, she doesn’t piss me off, sure i get embarrassed but didi is really lovable. one thing i appreciate is that the ml isn’t calculating kind nor is he cruel to everyone but kind only to the woman he loves. he’s like a regular dude lmao. he knows what’s wrong and what’s right and we need more of those in these rofans.

additionally, i saw someone comment how even tho the ogml saved her, all didi did was curse him out but tbh, who wouldn’t? she read the novel about how manipulative, cunning, and abusive he was. don’t forget this is the same man who would grab odette’s wrist forcefully, would lie to her and hide her earrings as an attempt to get closer to her. why would YOU not hate him? he’s literally the typical cruel, calculating, narcissistic, selfish ml. of course she would hate him. and ppl are saying, “he hasn’t even done anything wrong to her” well to be fair, she didn’t like him in the first place and their first meeting was horrible. demanding gratitude for being saved is so fucking lame lmao. the ppl saying he literally saved her, okay? mf had the nerve to ask why she wasn’t saying thank you. mind you, homegirl almost fucking died of course she would be shocked. he was rude, it’s no wonder her impression only plummeted.

i also appreciate the fact that it’s HIM she hates and not pretty. i’ve read so many stores where the fl hates the ogfl. this is such a breath of fresh air. i will admit though, odette is not entitled to return the ml’s feelings. if she doesn’t like him, she doesn’t have to. i will say though, i never understand girls who choose the abusive mls over the kind ones but i’m not odette am i. if odette wants to be with a manipulator who kills people he doesn’t like, go for it diva. personally, i’m just tired of this cliche and i’m rooting for didi and her ml.

and to the people saying didi is selfish, stupid, narcissistic, and all that. keep in mind, the ml is her superior. it’s not a situation like odette and the duke where he has power over her. everything didi suggested, the ml agreed to it. although he wasn’t a complete fan, he had every right and opportunity to reject her plans. but he didn’t. he can just dismiss her or fire her. she didn’t force him, he complied. i think a lot of ppl have very specific views of how a heroine should act. personally, i like that didi’s a little weird.
