The growth spurt is always unrealistic. You mean to tell me they grew up in four years from children to fully adults? Because that's not a teen look. There wasn't any change either during the year they spent together prior setting the engagement.

Not only for the looks. Are we supposed to believe that in such a long time there has been no advance in their relationship? No development? They should have figured out something already if they just bothered to talk from time to time, or during those times the boy apparently brought her flowers every day. But it seems they are still stuck at the same point they were when they engaged. Everything feels stagnant and just waiting for the moment it bursts.
