I know we all love babies (I wish we had babies) BUT I actually really like beta/other pairings specifically in side stories (AUs) because it’s still GAY. in omega verse the primary gender (man or woman) doesn’t matter much at all in social context. Alpha/beta couples are straight couples. They can produce offspring which is very simplified but that’s what makes straight couples “acceptable” irl. Like the father probably wouldn’t have been so upset in this AU if mc was an omega. So beta/alpha is still going against societal expectations and that’s nice representation in a fun made up AU
