They’re so beautiful together this is breaking my heart. It’s also giving us a real love story instead of letting the story fall into generic angelic mother who died trope. Usually those mothers/ wives are perfect because they’re only in memory, and thus the so called legendary love story of this mother feels like a card box, like a man loving a statue. But with this background Diana and Claude are real, you can see how they fall in love, they joke around, there are actual reasons for them to fall for each other.
