exactly! i think people get the wrong idea especially since this is a story about love between them, but like you said BWAT is basically showing that the MC didn't have interest with the ML when he was a child

of course child marriage is wrong, and even though it did happen historically (even similarly to this story in some cases) that doesnt make it not wrong. HOWEVER yall need to understand the difference between depicting something and condoning it. depiction DOES NOT equal condoning and i think its pretty clear that this author isn't condoning child marriage. i think its also pretty clear that the MC is not in love with the ML in a romantic way when he meets him. it will be interesting to see how they develop the romance aspect of this with them as adults so im giving this a chance cuz this author has a decent track record. hopefully itll be relatively slow burn in terms of romantic feelings but we'll see ig
