On the website I read, he doesn’t say "mom" he just moans, and in the flashback scene where he appears beaten, he doesn’t say "I honestly didn’t know" he says "I’m not really used to this stuff" As for the FL, she didn’t dissociate she was annoyed because he thought she was her mother. Before that, she had been teasing him, asking how he would face her afterward (in the other translation), but when she realized he wouldn’t remember, she got angry.
