I mean even in an open country like USA, being Gay can ruin Chances or Discrimination regarding casting in Hollywood, especially for someone like Luke with no background so the photos can ruin the career pretty much. But I’m assuming author set this story in America because still it’s a lot progressive in terms of LGBTQ+ community compared to Korea where people would cancel someone to extreme for being Gay. So Andrew and Luke needs ro overcome their hardships but still their happy ending is realistically possible if it sets in America.
