honestly, they're both still young so of course they don't know how to communicate properly yet. as sad as this is, it's important for both of their personal growths. they'll learn how to navigate their relationship better (bc if their relationship was really over, the manhwa would also be done). both are valid in how they feel AND both have things they need to work on to be better partners.
