I might have missed a part…. but back when the king sent the prince away with the night it definitely seemed like he was protecting the prince. Obvious yeah but strange, no? He even said at that meeting that the fact that the (forgot the name) bad group of people burnt down the forest wasn’t good. Idk even leading up to it he even mentioned to Abel about that well. It low key seemed like he was aware of everything but had no power to really stop it all? Like he was aware that he was a puppet and maybe since he himself lost his Regas he held maybe sympathy for the boy?
Also he knew that the boys eyes were fixed too, even telling the boy to keep the bandages on… 1. How did he know the boys eyess were fixed and 2. Did his eyes get fixed from drinking the water from the well?
