Well, it was the typical moment where the FL gets concerned for the ML... I agree that trope/cliche (?) is overdone and unrealistic but oh, well. Suppose it makes it seems like they're both struggling to win their matches (disregarding all the civilians that may or may not have been inside those buildings+cars).
Jiyoung created a spatial isolation before the fight so there won't be damage or harm done on people and buildings.
I can’t help but agree with the enemy, it is truly foolish of her to be distracted during a fight.
