I’m glad I started reading this

I’ve been avoiding this story A LONG TIME because as much as i love stories about found family and children-centric stories to heal my inner child, the comments ive been reading made me avoid this.

Im glad i gave this a chance because man this is probably one of the best regression stories ive read with such a unique twist (being mainly at an outsider POV). But also i love how this showed that healing isn’t linear, character development and growth being realistic and a true story of second chance at life.

I’m indifferent towards Lydia, but i have so much praise to the author for writing such a complicated character. But mostly, Lyrica feels so healing i love this baby girl so much that what only matters to me is her happiness. Idk how would she feel about knowing the past timeline but one thing is for sure, her love for her mother is above and beyond that despite the abuse from the past life she still chose to protect her. What a character. Everyone liking her doesn’t feel forced as well because she has no unlikeable bone in her. She is smart but also she still acts like a true kid at heart. What a pure character. Readers can either like or dislike Lydia but honestly what makes me stay is joining the characters watch Lyrica grow happy T T
