To all the people saying our fl is suddenly weak…instead, I think she was in shock. She finally understood the depth of Damian’s trauma and it paralyzed her for a second bc she (a grown woman) was fearful of that crazy old hag and imagined how Damian (as a little boy) must’ve been completely terrified as a child. So NO she’s not weak, she just sympathized with Damian and it all hit her at once
