You don’t wanna read this. It’s pure rage.

Just finished The Alpha’s Bride and I’m convinced this book is a social experiment to see how much emotional damage a reader can take before exploding on the spot. Because WHAT was that treatment of Riku????

Iriya is like one of the worst offenders. Man is out here acting like the CEO of Omegas while bullying a CHILD for “not knowing how to be an omega.” Sir, the story mentioned most of them transition at that age — what did you expect, a pop-up manual?? Be so serious. And the boy was raised as an alpha. SO WHAT??? That’s how his parents raised him. That’s noneofyorfckingbusiness. Who are you to make Riku’s life a living hell?? What are you even trying blame him for?? Do you wanna defend omegas or ostracize them? Like pick one bro. Hating on the child for transitioning into an omega at a normal and healthy age.

Oh. And then he has the AUDACITY to spin the whole situation like Riku is the aggressor and the ALPHA is the poor little victim. I don’t understand. Why does he act like the alpha is the one being wronged?

Like how? HOW?? HOW does one even reach such conclusion?? Nope. Not today. Not in this economy. He keeps twisting the narrative to make Riku look like the perpetrator, while anyone with two eyes can see it’s the other way around. It’s manipulative, it’s cruel, and it’s honestly disturbing that the story lets him get away with it. The GASLIGHT IS GASLIGHTING.

The ONLY reason I even remotely thank that mtf omega is because he gave Riku a place where he had SOME access to emotional support. Like a crumb. But he’s also the MAIN REASON Riku even needed that support because he was the one who made Riku feel so insecure, so hated, and so gaslit in the first place. Like congrats on being the cheap band-aid while also being the root of half the trauma.

And the alpha??? He literally takes a child from his family and then can’t even give him the basic care, safety, or emotional support he deserves. Never steps in. Never protects him. Just stands there like a decorative houseplant while Riku gets emotionally annihilated. Cause if he didn’t want responsibility, why’d he basically kidnap a child?? And like??? How is he always one step behind EVERY SINGLE TIME??

Also, he isolates Riku and then acts irritated at the consequences of the trauma HE created. Hah. Absolutely vile. My poor boy Riku is catching trauma like it’s a full-time job.

Did we all forget Riku is a 17 yo teen who can VERY MUCH get PREGNANT at fucking 17??? With zero emotional preparation???

And Riku’s parents? Like, they just disappear from his life. Poof. Leaving the boy without a home while he is out here suffering heavy abuse to SAVE the fcking family financially. WHERE WERE THEY? Do they think it’s normal to give a 17 yo teen to a grown ass mtfck who clearly is throwing his weight around??? And like, not check on the child afterwards????

I won’t even talk about, Riku’s own childhood friend — the one person who WAS SUPPOSED to support him. Breaks my fcking heart.

Everyone fails Riku and then magically he’s the one getting blamed. The gaslighting, the reverse psychology, the emotional neglect — it’s like they all got together and said “let’s speedrun ruining this kid’s life.”

Riku deserved love, protection, a hug, maybe ten years of therapy — not an entire cast of unhinged adults traumatizing him and using him as their emotional punching bag.

The art is so beautiful but every single time I try reading this, I become so mad I feel like I’ll, in fact, throw up. I feel nauseous.
