I don't think the creator tried to say the younger brother is a good person. She showed why he's the way he's she didn't excuse his behavior. Imo even the rape part was needed because it showed how sexually repressed the younger brother was
The art is so gorgeous, the romance & chemistry is so good & the story overall was well-written with good pacing. Ye-Gyeom is such a sweetie & Jooin such a green flag. It was great to see how they developed as individuals when together & when forced apart. Very satisfying romance ~ the spark was there even when they didn't know the others' feelings
The only con for me was the unfortunate rape arc by the younger brother. Like it didn't need to go that far imo, esp bc the author kept trying to redeem/justify why the bro was awful bc he was also abused ("hurt people hurt people" but like...he was still an abusive rapist POS). We didn't need to waste side stories on him（￣へ￣）give me more smutty happy sex life of our main couple!
