Not for him to come back but for Shuraka I believe his name is, to be safe. Since the MC was “casted away” he simply wanted the crown prince to continue to live and nothing more. Also when the met, there were no romantic feelings from the MC, it was simply “this child shines like the sun and deserves to continue to shine, therefore I will protect him. We also need to remember that the MC has ties to the royal family but had had to prove himself. So most likely his upbringing wasn’t the best, as in he had to prove his worth time and time again.
Also Shuraka being a child, was taught to act like an adult which is why he behaved as such. I can see why people may feel uncomfortable with it but in my eyes the story gives enough context for people not to get the wrong idea. Knowing BWAT’s work I highly doubt we would see the MC and Shuraka actually doing engaging with each other further. After all he’s a child and I doubt our MC would pursue any romantic relationship once Shuraka was older. Just simply by looking at how the character carries themselves.
I understand where you’re coming from and people are entitled to their own opinion but it comes to a point that saying “it’s pedophilic” “if yall read this shame on you” not exactly those words. They can comment what they want and I would just say if you don’t like it you can stop reading, continue if you want idc. Just don’t force those words down other readers’ throats.
Read all chapters even bought them to support bwat and honestly? The story looks like it’ll be good and has a interesting premise with really good art, but at the same time we can also admit that its weird asf that ml was 11 and a child when they were engaged and mc spent 3yrs with him before they were separated for 10yrs, in which he spent every night praying for the child to come back to get him and be safe… right right… and multiple times referred to him as becoming a man when he was 14… right right… to the point he even was thinking about how he must have a wife and moved on and doesn't need him anymore and was upset about that….. RIGHT RIGHT
