this is the same argument people make towards enjoying other kinds of rape like violence towards children or women. And its just not true that your mind can separate fiction from reality as flawlessly as people like to claim. Its proven that constantly consuming a type of content/stimuli desensitises people. It’s also how exposure therapy works, how cognitive behavioural therapy works etc.
