i meann if u look at it rationally, she decided to separate the two characters. in the end the world she ended up in before was from a fiction she read whereas she finally returned back to her reality, ofc at first she was very hesitant and scared bc he shared the same face but after many instances where he seemed gentle (from her perspective) she decided that yea its best to not be so overly anxious of the fact he is not the same person which he is bc we got to see his perspective, but she doesnt know that do we since he perfectly articulated how he represented himself infront of her
She started to think they are not the same or that he does not remember therefore he "could not be blamed for what his past life self did"
