I’m honestly so confused about their relationship right now. How did the First Empress just ” suddenly ”start liking the Second Empress? Hearts don’t flip like pancakes! And if she really liked her from the start, then why wasn’t she acting like a full-time tsundere up until five minutes ago?
I know Chinese romances love the slow-burn, but come on—shouldn’t at least ONE of them stop and think, “Hmm, this is kinda weird”? Because Qi is out here acting like Juan shu is her official wife , biting her neck, getting all possessive like a jealous cat, and meanwhile Juan shu is just standing there like, “Wow, what a normal political alliance :)”
