Yall just don’t seem to understand why they’re doing this whole appearance and school reputation thing, but I kinda understand since I grew up in east Asia. Our school would always tell us to dress properly, behave properly, etc. if you got a piercing you must report it to the school, your shoes must be fully white with no labels or any other colours, no jewelry no nothing. This is because East Asian societies and schools believe that you as a student represent the entire school. One misstep you make the whole school look bad, and people will hate you for it. It is absolutely ridiculous I know and I agree, I hated how it is too but yes this is just how things work.
