Unfortunately this is the “standard” premise in Yaoi/BL as a whole, it’s what sells, even though it’s wrong. Atp, you gotta chalk it up to what’s worse on the scale as far as what these “tops” do or stop consuming this content altogether, because these authors will draw what sells to get paid. Fluffy stuff can sell, but it’s a thin margin.
