I don't really want a timeskip either but it's definitely coming, considering how the manga has been like so far I highly doubt we'll be getting any smut or anything more than a little kiss with current yuu and tsubaki. It'll just be a lot of "almosts" and fan service until a time skip right before the end. I'm not too sad though because I always wanted a cute bl shota romance that focuses on the process of getting together rather than straight up smut, I hope we get way more stories like this where it's just a fun cute story where one of the two main charas just happens to be a shota (and shota themed shenanigans ofc)
