This is peak if anything because the ending shows us that, beliefs are not can easily change at all, i do get the point of our uke. He wanted to do everything he loves, and he also wanted to experience the death, of being reborn and for sure our ml are going to find him if the uke finally died. I really love the ending, some people may disagree finding our uke to be selfish leaving the one you love but it really doesn't matter because as long as they agreed into it that they will find out each other in next life, it's satisfying enough for me.
