I'm on chapter 103 and I just had to comment that this is a story not really like any I've read before y'know. And that's cool. Many of these stories don't dare to touch on how truly ruthless the jianghu can be and how realistically the heroes often aren't there when tragedy strikes. Evil wins ALL THE TIME. And these hypocritical so called Orthodox factions and "good" people will turn around and use underhanded/underground and sick methods to achieve their goal while showing themselves pure and righteous to the public.

There's been three incidences already where one of society's most vulnerable group get hurt. Children. They get kidnapped, tortured, killed and abused. Then they get turned into experiments or killers. Then the people underestimate the monsters they created themselves. Pyo Wol was minding his own damn business but because he was an orphan and nobody would notice if he's gone he was just grabbed and he got thrown into hell. Then they were surprised he showed them hell??? Make it make sense. You MADE him. You made your (death) bed now lie in it.

On that topic I was keeping up with Pyo Wol's age but I don't think we know now. He was caught at fourteen then seven years passed in the caves. So he was what like twenty one when they got out to do their mission?? Then seven more years passed after he was thrown in the pit of snakes and then came out so he was twenty seven. Then more years passed after he got his revenge so he's likely in his mid thirties to early fourties?? Damn dilf

Anyway i guess maybe with age he's maturing mentally and becoming more "emotional". He has a really big soft spot for children and for those who are naive/sincere/honest. That we can see easily. He now has those three children he practically adopted and then Tang Sochun. (Thought his name was Yochun/Yochan on earlier chapters???) Also the evolution of his outfits and look is really cool you can tell now he looks older but not in actual appearance more in the way he dresses and interacts with people. It's not an immediate kill anymore he considers things. And maybe he made a friend who RIP. I wonder though where is this story going? We have that kid that had crazy regen powers, that several head dragon group I don't remember their name, the seven star hall I don't remember the proper name didn't seek revenge for their members that died which is odd, that old dude Shadow something and his niece, etc. A lot of things unresolved.

And man the death of Sohyang. That's been the worst one so far. She was innocent and hadn't done anything to anyone man. I'm glad he got revenge. You could say she was also taking care of him from the other side as in that road he met the children. I'm probably gonna catch up and comment again but this is really good story although feels slow sometimes or like it's going nowhere it doesn't have a definitive plot/problem to solve.
