I'm a bit disappointed that Ohn chose Seowoo instead of Jaewoo... Don't get me wrong I understand why. Seowoo liked him first, they have a tough past in common and he's got a very sweet personality. Like if it was my choice I would have gone the same way. But I'm a bit conflicted with how and why he chose Seowoo.
Near the end Seowoo says Ohn changed him (he did) and Ohn says something about how he's changed a lot too (which he has) and I thought "yeah, but you changed bc of Jaewoo". Jaewoo acting as Seowoo was the first who Ohn actually met. It was Jaewoo who weaselled his way in and got Ohn out of his shell around men while Seowoo just stood back and watched.
And yes I get that Jaewoo was supposed to be acting like Seowoo so even if Ohn liked Jaewoo he would still be liking Seowoo, but let's be real, Jaewoo pretending to be Seowoo still acted more like himself than what Seowoo was really like. Enough that Ohn noticed a difference when the real Seowoo was around, showing that Ohn like at least something of Jaewoo's personality.
I think it would have been quite poetic had Ohn chose Jaewoo. Seowoo was always forcing Jaewoo to do things for him and never lived his own experiences. Losing Ohn to his brother would have been enough of a wake-up call that he needs to change. The story set up is that Jaewoo will get close to Ohn as Seowoo and then Seowoo will step in when he feels more comfortable and I thought the story would be about how flawed this logic is. You can't just get someone to do all your heavy lifting then reap the rewards. But that's exactly what happens. Jaewoo gets Ohn to open up to them, Seowoo jumps in, Ohn chooses Seowoo.
I think Jaewoo deserved to get Ohn.
Don't get me wrong, when Seowoo saw Ohn kiss Jaewoo, my heart broke for him - Seowoo did like him first - but he needed to learn that his brother is his own person and has already done enough for him - this is the consequence of his cowardice. If he wanted Ohn he should've gone for it himself.
I also think there should have been more background about why Ohn didn't like Jaewoo and what happened between them in school. Jaewoo should have been given the chance to apologise and grow from there too.
Overall I really enjoyed it, I thought it was really sweet and I love all this author's stories, but I feel like this one needed like 50 more chapters to really dive into the morals and relationships of the characters.
