It's much more focused in medical history in the victorian era and the ongoing event's of it in that time.
So it's contrary to you what you want to read first in the novel that you are interested in the comic events. Wait.
The current chapter is not what actually happened in the novel that's all I can say bout it cause maybe there's a reason why they didn't add it.
In my personal opinion the character in this comic is real people in the Victorian Era so maybe that's why it's not that accurate in the comic.
Like bad mounting the dead people in that era.
In my opinion the author is so good in dark humor and joking.

He has so many names calling in London City and France and China.

Guys this latest chapter is so funny in the novel
And at the same time so realistic
So horrific crazy in the demonstration of the experiment
