Brothers without a tomorrow tend to write fantasy. And in fantasy settings like kingdoms and royalty, falling in love is entirely different as modern settings. In royalty fantasy kingdoms, people tend to fall in love immediately because love is perceived differently. More pure. A simple hi, a simple touch of a hand can make people fall in love bc there’s no hook up culture. Their realities and morality don’t align with modern settings. In modern settings you need to get to know a person. How they are, how they live, they have to court you, they have to have sex to know if they’re compatible,etc. Because peasants, regular people, have more options. Royals have different standards. They don’t have a lot of options to “date” bc they simply need to follow royal rules. So, like a said, under these standards, a simple sweet tone in a conversation can make these people fall in love. You need to set your mind into this settings, switch the way you see and get rid of your regular mortal and ordinary standards to enjoy Brothers without a tomorrow stories. Otherwise you will constantly find fault in their stories.
This is my 3rd title of Brother’s Without Tomorrow And I still dont they the hype… The settings are always imaginative and different and the characters are cool, but I never buy WHY they like each other. Just like in this manhwa, I understand the protectiveness of the ML over the MC but as soon as the MC got on the other country the ML already liked him. Why? I like the build ups.
