I don’t think sayan suffered enough. He still has that sadistic possessiveness over illic. The closest I’d say from the manhwa is how he know illic will probably never love him a regretted how their relationship started but like, he still doesn’t try to put the toxic traits he knows he has to bay.
I mean I like how he doesn’t feel pity for himself and knows what he did, but it’s one thing if he hold back himself from those toxic traits. It’s one thing if illic unknownly is masochist, but another is not one and sayan still does sadistic things to him.
Like if sayan stopped doing those sadistic things and illic lowkey was like “I wish he sometimes did it” that would be nicer.
I just wish this had more wife chasing crematorium aspects at the end. I don’t know about the novel, but illic kinda settled for the life w Sayan.
