I'm feeling so mixed about this manhwa lol. This work is not for the weak. I never want to comment on something but I need to comment on this one so I can remember my own interpretation. The characterization of the characters is so great; mainly by how different they are. The author are greats and so the artists. It's convey the message if you looks closely. Each character is so complex and has their own flaws.
We see Tehir: he have a sadistic tendencies and escalated due to Kimoto's stoic/keeping his feelings under his skin. He wants Kimoto to show an emotion: a thing Tehir always expose/vent to Kimoto. Kimoto saw him through hell, but not doing anything in return. He keeps him alive, safe, but not doing anything in return. For someone who has idk, anxiety or problem with feelings, it will giving you irk. Kimoto isn't making clear his intention either (in this case it was love). And don't forget he had paralyzed for 5 years, it's make him isolated, lonely, insecure and drown in his emotion. That's why he go ballistic, can't digest his feelings properly, and probably obsessed with his hatred towards Jin.
In the other hands we have Kimoto: he loves Tehir, but he wants to stop. He know Tehir and his sadistic tendencies, feel hurt by it, but seems can't stop his feelings. He wants Tehir to hurt him so he can move on but we all know that's not a nice move to. Tehir knows Kimoto are scared of Jin but he keep him, both in s1 (scanner) and s2 (in their bedroom, in the past). I don't know why Jin compared him with himself in the past but now it's probably because his feelings towards tehir and his response (which he think it's similar to what he had with Charin). He also hate to lose control over himself and likes to predict and fix things (tldr: he likes to control but not in abnormal amounts like hyehan)
Enter Jin: idk about his characterization honestly. He's fearless and smart. I bet he knows what's going on in that kindergarten & the teacher. He has better understanding of his own feelings better and manage it better than anyone for now (Lets see about aael and rim later). In the past he lacks of empathy, or idk bcs we don't really know what happened between them in the past. From what I see, he's the type of someone who driven by meaning, the one he lacks of in the kindergarten but then found later (by following Charin around). He doesn't want to fight serious unless its self defense and Charin involved.
And then Charin: charin is Tehir, in different font. He's scared of Jin but instead of trying ignore him like Kimoto, he go ballistic instead. He feels inferior of Jin and he doesn't want anyone (even himself) to acknowledge it. He beats Jin everyday but he's still stay. So to make himself better, he wants Jin to submitted to him. That's why Jin said he only feel at ease when he act dumb. But this make an ugly return: he loves Jin back. His response to this is similar to Tehir & Kimoto. He turns to Sadistic (Tehir) and disgusted / scared by his own feelings and feel hurt by it (Kimoto). Charin tend to suppress his feelings because of his pride and insecurity. That's why Jin said he can't love Charin free because it will cause Charin suffocated with his own feelings. This turn ugly when he realized he likes Jin back, and go to Hyehan
Hyehan is obsessive freak. He loves to control, that's why he loves doll and hate people. He feels superiors because of his clever mind and curiosity. He never feel adoration or whatever, but he likes Charin even its twisted. He blushed when Jin's got pregnant, he blushed when Jin show hi interest in him, he even go to Charin when he's hurt by Jin just because he knows his girlfriend would hurt him. I want to see how his and Gahor relationship went.
Lets see about gahor, aael and rim later. All of these is already a superb and extremely difficult to write and draw.
