Since we now know that Chaejun used to hang out with Lee as a child and probably served as a solace of some sort the "smell" is probably nostalgia.
A nostalgic smell that makes him feel safe, realistically it would probably put him to sleep but because this is a yaoi it's making him horny
So, I’ve been rereading this and I still can’t understand the science behind Chaejun and his sense of smell. We all know Lee has a scent which has been clarified not from perfume, shampoo, or anything. Chaejun also says that Lee’s scent has changed or changes from time to time because of him. This is where I am kind of confused. The chapter where Lee gets hives and goes him, Chaejun sniffed his old uniform and the ointment/cream Lee’s brother gave him also caused a severe reaction from Chaejun (we all know what happened). Is the scent Chaejun has been obsessed with comes from the ointment/cream? Or is it really just Lee’s scent? If its the ointment, would it be possible if another person uses it and Chaejun loses his mind? (idk about this) In conclusion, I’m just really curious what you guys had in mind or any theories you have.
