This is going to sound crazy but I think I’m dropping this story because it’s too unrealistic for me. I think if she was older I would be more forgiving towards the storyline, but sending your 7 yr old off into a dangerous forest was kind of it for me. I’m kind of over all the adults not having control of anything. Dad useless, grandpa useless, and the king is useless too! If the prince didn’t volunteer I’m pretty they would have shrugged their shoulders and sent her on her way to fulfill the prophecy.
