after years of reading this, i’ve come to realize this manhwa really glorifies slavery and is really soulless?? it SHOWS that the author is most likely classist or elitist, like holy!!! and it’s the way that navier basically is supposed to be a strong woman yet she basically relies on the men surrounding her, and the way she blames a 17 year old slave for her like 27 something husband’s infidelity?? he’s literally a emperor and rashta is a SLAVE!!! she doesn’t have much choice and the fact she’s been through so much abuse throughout her life and she didn’t even have ill intentions towards navier is what’s even crazier, she literally admired the woman. i think this story would’ve been better if it held navier accountable for her actions and showed her growth as a character and made her like abolish slavery, etc. if she was just able to be her own person and actually be a responsible adult and realized rashta was a child who was enslaved. also heinrey is also a whole war criminal if i remember correctly who is also a biased father!! sovieshu may have been a horrible man but at least he was a good father….! overall, rashta is a victim who was villainized because the author is probably classist or something like that, i don’t doubt author would also be racist or colorist in some way
