encrid is the embodiment of perseverance and hard work, he's got an indominable determination and is humble to boot w no sense of egoistical pride. when i first started this, i didn't expect that i'd end up liking the mc as much as i do now, he's so relatable yet different at the same time and just as how he (unintentionally) acts as a role model to the soldiers in his camp, he also serves as an inspiration to us readers. he's a character i've grown to deeply respect and admire. encrid represents all us "normies", he's very realistic, i can't commend the author enough; he isn't a genius and it's been emphasized again and again through the amount of time he takes to learn a particular skill or overcome a "wall". it hurts my heart bc i see so much of myself in him yet he refuses to give up on his dreams, he is disciplined and has a forward way of thinking and no, it's not bc he has that magical amulet that lets him regress. let's be honest, even if i did possess such power, i don't think i have it in me to die again and again, he's such a brave soul and his mental strength is like no other. that's what separates him from us as THE protagonist, not bc of his regressing ability.

I ALSO LOVE LOVE encie's dry humour and his dynamics w every chara, esp w his squad members. they all adore him so much, it's so heartwarming, i love seeing them fight w each other lol, it's so cute. ah, another thing i wanted to discuss is the issue of some readers having a problem w the shippers, my message to y'all is that to pay them no mind, i'm sure y'all have realised by now that it's merely for fun. personally i'm reading this manhwa for the love of the game and i ship encrid w the fairy commander as a potential romantic interest but ngl i was baited by the person who recommended this to me bc they said "bisexual harem", still can't thank them enough for the recommendation. at the end of the day, we're all here to read and enjoy encie's journey to knighthood, let's not harbour any beef w e/o
