The only way I can explain this, is if Joo had an epiphany.

Joo really did change very quickly so that does make it harder to follow the story because of how unrealistic it is.
The only way I could plausibly believe that he did a 180 so quickly, is if he legitimately had a traumatic epiphany... Which didn't really.

Tbh I think author doesnt want the series to be too long and thats why it goes so fast

I don't think he changed super quick. up until a few chapters ago he was still convinced he only needed Dan to mediate his jinx. But when he thought Dan died (due to a drunken habit he gained from joo's treatment of him) he realized he highk ruined Dan's life and needed to help him get in track again before even thinking of asking him for help again. Then he realized he was so focused on him specifically this whole time cuz he was in love. I'd say the progression was neither too short nor excessively drawn out, it being a bit longer could've helped but that's just me

I don't think so.. we might think it's too soon because of the few chapters but actually in the story it has been months (almost a year I think) since the last time Jk meets Dan

How is it soon?? We've seen him question himself and his actions this entire season

Quickly? His change lasted, and still does, for dozens of chapters.
