I really wish I would finally read a story where a character gets a gut feeling and actually TRUSTS it. Worse, she's a woman, she's encountered a stalker for crying out loud, it's not like she grew up sheltered from danger. No where is safe for us ladies. Even if you trust someone, if you feel uncomfortable and have a bad feeling, you are better trusting yourself than someone potentially dangerous. I get it, she wanted an opportunity and was desperate, but when she got that feeling, she either should've dipped or gone through with contacting someone, not telling anyone and going into a SKETCHY area is the dumbest decision you can make.
Also, I despise that brother, I hate coward characters who hurt others just to get back at someone. Like if you hate your brother, target him. Going after and ruining the life of a random woman just to get back at him is so disgusting. It's crazy how you can live your life peacefully, minding your business and still get dragged into dangerous things by association.
Also kinda wish the author would've wrapped up the whole ex-husband arc before jumping us into this drama, hate how that's currently been going no-where considering that's what started this story.
