Secretary is annoying af. You never showed that you liked him, and the moment you do, you run away?? Like give the man a chance to process, not give him an ultimatum. Not only is it that, it's the fact you claim dude only wants you back cause you're useful. Maybe think that he thought he had your friendship for 12 years, and doesn't want to lose a dear friend?? Silent crush tropes are usually pretty good, but this one is written poorly imo.
