People please even if second timeline Klloff can be a little bit of a jerk, pushy or stubborn, he represent first timeline Kloff's remorse/guilt at the end of his life. Of course, second timeline Aeroc being presented as an omega helped a lot but Kloff also wanted a second opportunity to treat well and live a happy life with Aeroc. The man actually felt remorse even if was late in his life. Should he be forgiven? No, not even his children forgave him. But he truly wished for a different outcome to make things right but his remorse came late because of many reasons.
Like Aeroc, who pay for his crime and lived feeling guilty and accepted everything that came his way to the point of actually trying to pair Kloff and Raphiel up in the second timeline, promising himself he would not interfere, Kloff, in his insanity for the broken bond, guilt and old man loneliness, before dying, wishes for a time where both of them lived and things could be done differently.
Third timeline is gonna destroy us so I'm kinda enjoying what's left of the second one.
