Long-ish review

I'm gonna be so honest, I hate the ML. The overall premise is interesting but something about him, his characterization, and his non-chemistry with Sungwon specifically makes me not want to continue the story. Something about him just feels so icky and his character development is just so eugh. This goes beyond his rapist tendencies too. A character with a similar archetype I could compare to him is Della from Cash or Credit, except Della feels more organic and has a successful framing of a somewhat dark-leaning morally-gray character. His reactions and decisions are more organic, and his chemistry with Keith(Cash or Credit MC) actually works and drives you to read more, whereas Bohmee and Sungwon feels so forced and inconsistent. I've grown used to dubious consent scenes in manhwa, which is admittedly not a good thing, but the framing of such scenes in this manhwa feels so off and does not at all accomplish the author's goal, which is to establish romantic progression, the "yearning" of Bohmee, and the (painfully forced) realization of Sungwon's reciprocation. Additionally, it's a poor attempt at the "groveling regretful ML" trope/arc. Atp, I just want Sungwon to snap and just kill Bohmee. His characterization reminds me of those rapey, obsessed side-antagonists that the MC fights off and is simply a plot device for the relationship develop of the MC and ML. In other words, Bohmee is better off as an obsessed antagonist rather than the male lead.
