BUT Does people that read this manhwa really think that Eden did nothing wrong at all in the beginning? Do you guys think that Eden announcing his leave from the group on their anniv without saying anything to the team as nothing big and its totally normal and the member should just congratulate him without feeling any frustation? Do you guys really think what eden said about Yehyun, like "what you have is only pretty face" is not a bad words? Or when dobin repeatedly told eden not to call him dobby cuz he didn't like it but was ignored by Eden as nothing bad? When even Eden made that statement while he DID looks down on Yehyun and Dobin? And many others examples too...
For the note, I LOVE EDEN TO THE CORE. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH MY HEART HURTS. Im a huge novel and mahwa fans. Im reve's fans, I love every single one of them but my bias is definitely Eden.
But I love him not just because he was funny, charming, talented, unexpectedly a softie, and cute. I love him because even though he started hating the system for forcing him, after he followed them, he does eventually realize his mistakes and lately he rarely even blames the system as much as he did in the beginning. Don't you guys also thinks that Eden changing his behavior is part of his character development? Why does people changing himself for being a better person (no longers be as rude, minding his words, learning how to care for others) suddenly means that Eden is potrayed as the bad one, as if he never made a mistake towards the peoplr he should've cherished? Also that "Poor Eden he had to CHANGE his true self", like... isn't the common knowledge of being a human is realizing your mistake and changing yourself for the better? Was it more "kind" and "good" to support the rude Eden on and hoping for the people around him to adapt to him instead?
In the end, Eden is still rude but in rather "polite" way didnt he? Just look at the polite diss rap against his granpa that didnt use a single bad words. He is still blunt and kinda rude but he minded his words. He minded his actions too. He is growing didnt he? His real self is still there but he because better. People, even yehyun of all member, who have the biggest beef with Eden now is giving him advice patiently(?) Lmao.
I now have become genuinely confused... all I know is "you cant change your environment, you can only change yourself" and Eden just change himself with the help of the system for the better him.
