so real omg thats why i often read short series that are completed ( ̄∇ ̄")
the only times i read longer, ongoing series is when i know its worth the read, especially if its popular; however, most of the ongoing stories im currently reading have very slow updates and tend to have the best cliffhangers ever, so it sucks to wait a month or two (or even a whole year)

Anyone else in the situation of having too many ongoing series in ur “want to read” list but not wanting to start them only to get cliffhangered?
And half the time they take at least one long hiatus mid-story and by the time it ends you’ve forgotten the whole plot and have to reread(esp long stories with complex plot such as Ennead)…feels like I have so many options to read but at the same time so little. I think I have over 50 series in my “currently reading” list and they all take up space in my brain
Maybe I just need to find more completed series to binge, the rest I’ll leave to marinate
