Bruh literally everyone in the book is shitty including Seth and Horus and you cannot change my mind.
All Seth does is get raped. Literally every single man Seth comes across human or god rapes him. It is so frustrating and SAD and DEPRESSING to see him get raped all the fucking time. Now I would completely pity this man if he didn’t cause the women and children of Egypt to be hunted down and sacrificed so much so they had to build their own safe haven with a barrier to protect them from all men whilst Egypt basically got turned into one large rape fuckfest which spelled disaster for any woman, child and male that remotely resembled a woman. He never told his caravan of ugly followers to stop neither did he set any rules or boundaries. He let them commit massacres and actively indulged in it. You can say there were all sorts of obstacles that made him do the things he did, but I’m sorry the things he did could not be forgiven.
Now Isis is another fucked up character. Her brother was getting raped by her husband in front of her eyes and she ran away and let him get raped. I give her some leeway because even if she did interfere because of how obsessed Osiris is (he had a whole as master plan) with Seth I think she would’ve died trying. I also hate how obsessed she was with Osiris and honestly it was frustrating to see her lap like a dog for this creep. It was relieving to see near the end of season two that she finally started to see him for how he truly was. Other than that I admit she’s the best god for the people of Egypt because she did her best to protect the women and children of Egypt and had Egypt at the forefront of her mind while basically toiling in the dirt with her shitty ungrateful son. Isis basically sacrificed everything for her son, endured years of torment from Seth and had to watch her devoted followers die which btw Horus also saw but for some reason this ungrateful brat fell in love with his uncle?! because of the way Seth loved Anubis? Man istg if I had a son like that just kill me.
And then Nephthys. Oh lord you have no idea how satisfied I was when Isis grabbed her shoulders and shouted she was a victim. I feel so bad for her and since the beginning of the story she’s always just been blaming herself for everything that happened. Not only was the actual her who loved Seth trapped in a mirror for years but then she gets cucked because her husband’s lover/rapist(Horus) loves Seth, her husband gets raped by her brother and nephew and every other man, and that same husband abuses and torments her by abusing their son. And she has a child with Osiris who she didn’t wanna actually have kids with but had to because this creep couldn’t bear to see the two have kids. Every single man in this is genuinely fucked and I have to say thank god the author made sure Nephthys didn’t get back together with Seth because she deserves way better. Horus and Seth truly deserve each other.
