All I can say is…

All I can say is that loving someone with your entire being is no guarantee they will ever truly see it. It is a vulnerable feeling held out in hope that can go forever unnoticed. It is worse, somehow, when you are bound by the title of "best friend." That label becomes a gilded cage. It grants you a front-row seat to their life, all while your own heart feels staged in the wings, waiting for a cue that never comes. Yes, it is painful. How could it not be?

But perhaps the deepest cut comes from a quiet, cruel irony itself. sometimes, we become invisible precisely because we are too close. Familiarity blurs your devotion into the background of their world. The ever-close proximity, which should be your greatest advantage, instead robs your love of its mystery and makes your courage look like simple companionship.

So, most of the time, people would rather pass by what is right beside them. They earnestly wait and search for what will arrive but those who have already arrived are often overlooked. Unreturned feelings mostly turned out as cluelessness.
