And the first time they kissed was when another nute, basically gnawed at MCs lips to drink his blood and ML got pissed NOT FOR THE BLOOD but for the kiss, he just wanted to kiss him, their kiss was nice since they had a lot of chemistry and slow burn building up to it.
I like the ML so far I hope he doesn’t turn out too bad…
if you think about it there’s quite a psychological aspect of the novel since it’s prey and predator, if we compare to avg fantasy novels the Nutes are just like monsters that need almas blood to survive, and the Alma’s are resistant ofc, it’s just a primal survival instinct, which makes this novel special as it touches something way primal than sexual desires, survival of the fittest… one thing I remember is even when MC was bleeding in front of ML he didn’t do anything and just bandaged him, didn’t drink/lick it or anything, and that happened multiple times in fact and he always just tended his wounds than to give in to instinct wether his desire for Mc sexual or a survival instincts…he didn’t do anything to him!
