I tried to see it from omegas perspective and it's more of a case of denial, whatever he believed in as a kid got shattered as his results came out to be Omega and in his pursuit to defy everyone and playing judo in nationals he also grew to hate the alpha might be from a complex, thinking the alpha got it all and easy just because he's an alpha kinda shit.
Although I do not like it that he tried to take it out on the alpha who did nothing wrong but just believe in his promise they made as a kid to marry but yea that's what the plot is without the hate and the complex it would just be another omegaverse
He is treating his childhood friend like complete trash when it’s obvious that he cares deeply for him. And then, to go as far as use him the way he is while knowing he’s hurting him is enraging.

The omega is right to be resentful and confused and contradictory. That same alpha keep throwing hormones his way without his consent (in the story they explicitly say it counts as harassment) and also is literally stalking him. The alpha also accidentally influenced him to become an omega with his dominant alpha pheromones - changing the trajectory of his whole life. Maybe they could’ve both been together as alphas but now they’ll never know.
Some people are desperate to be followed around by a hot dude to the point that they don’t care if it’s a stalker. Usually , I can turn my brain off and say it’s just a fantasy but this story wants us to treat it seriously, so I’m also gonna take that seriously.

He was young, sure. He grew up and never changed. Never respected the omega’s boundaries and never listened to anything he wanted. Sure, whatever he did was to “protect” omega but it was too over the top. Imagine you’re married and your partner never ever listens to you at all, over the years. How would you feel?
