Why think so lowly of celestials when they rank first?

I think the main reason they backed out is because their alliance wants to fight and destroy whatever that thing is, whereas, the white robe wants to keep the barrier up and that thing there instead of personally dealing with it. In short they got scared and choose the safest method

And yeah, also maybe because the added alliances of the Dark Celestial is still not convincible to some ignorant players
